Janice Garner

Janice K. Garner, 78, of Vincennes, IN passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Gentle Care Nursing Home. She was born on January 28, 1946 to the late Leland and Doris (Lay) Lucas. Janice was a lifelong resident of Vincennes. She worked many years at the local Walmart in the Deli Department. She was a member of the Moose Lodge 281 and the VFW Post 1157 in Vincennes. Janice loved life and her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Leland and Doris Lucas; ex-husband Frank Arthur; siblings Betty Manning, Sally Abel, Annette Ruppel, Linda McCoy, and Eugene Lucas.
Janice is survived by her children Brent Arthur and Dawn Breedlove of Vincennes, IN and Jamie Arthur of Bicknell, IN; grandchildren Meghan Duncan of Santa Rosa, CA, Brittney Miller of Pocatello, ID, Erin Adams of Austin, IN, Eric Loveless of Vincennes, IN, Jesus Cancino III of Lawrenceville, IL, and Brantlee Spivey of Evansville, IN; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of Gentle Care Nursing Home for all their loving care.
Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Ms. Garner. There will be no services at this time.
