Janice Moody

Janice (Jones) Moody passed away Saturday, June 8, 2023, peacefully in her home, surrounded by family and friends. A native of Chanute, Kansas, and Tribal Member of the Osage Indian Nation of Oklahoma. Jan was the daughter of J. Frank and Eunice Jones who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard (Dick) Moody and her sister, Nancy Anderson. Jan is survived by her daughter, Mindy Moody of Anderson, Indiana and Jan's companion, Curtis Reglin of Vincennes, Indiana and her grand-dog, Manny. After moving to Vincennes, Jan was employed by Wm. Duesterberg as the first manager of the Hallmark House. At a later date, she was employed by Susan Schutz at the Design Nook for several years. There will be no visitation. However, there will be a graveside service at Memorial Park Cemetery Park Tower II at at later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vincennes Animal Shelter (Pet Port), the Humane Society, or AseraCare Hospice (8401 N Kentucky Ave. Suite G, Evansville, Indiana 47725).
