Janie L. Fortner

Janie Lee Fortner, 80, of Vincennes, IN passed away on July 10, 2024. She was born to John Abel and Julia Fredrick-Davis. Janie blessed with an adoptive father Thomas Fortner, whom she loved dearly. Janie enjoyed reading and watching game shows in her free time.
She is preceded in death by her father John Abel; mother Julia Fredrick-Davis; adoptive father Thomas Fortner; grandchild Thomas Stone; great-grandchild Jensen Morrison.
Janie is survived by her children Leanna Lamkin, Thomas Riker, and Aaron Courter; grandchildren Charles Stone, Jami Wilkerson, Casey Mayes, Jacob Courter, Alex Quick, Ashlee Morrison; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Ms. Fortner. There will be no services at this time.
