Jeanne Karl

Jeanne Karl, 57, of 342 N Hyde Park, Vincennes passed away on January 3rd, 2012 at her residence. She was born May 7th, 1954 in Flint, Michigan to Howard C. & Pearl S. (Wiens) BohlingJeanne worked as a tutor and instructor at Vincennes University in the study skills department, prior to that she was employed by the Vincennes Community School Corporation, and the Flint Osteopathic Hospital. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Anderson University. She was a active member of the First Church of God in Vincennes, served as Sunday School teacher and since 1995, was the leader of the Moms in Touch prayer ministry. She enjoyed landscaping and gardening.Surviving is her husband, Rev. Georg Karl whom she married May 4, 1985; her mother of Flint, Michigan; two children, Kristina Karl of Lafayette, IN and Joel Karl of Vincennes. Also surviving are two sisters, Kathleen (Pat) Gallagher of Petersburg, Michigan and Marja (Tom) Northstine of Midland, Michigan.Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm Friday at the First Church of God in Vincennes with Rev. Joe Gregory and Pastor Fred Nocus officiating. Visitation will be at the First Church of God on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and Friday from 5:30 to 7:00 pm.
