Jeannette Swope

Jeannette M. Swope, 56, passed away at 3:41 pm on April 13, 2019 at her residence. Jeannette was born on June 22, 1962 in Albany, Georgia to Larry Dean Smith and Carolyn Hendershot.Jeannette attended Thursday Church. She also enjoyed her family, spending time with her grandchildren, being outdoors and being around people.Survivors include her sons, Dustin Barmes and his girlfriend Jody McLin of Vincennes, Nathan Barmes and his wife Jessica of Washington; step-daughter, Stacie Schroeder and her husband Ben of New Whiteland, IN; her dad, Burnell Davis of Lowell, IN; siblings, Jeanette Johnson and her husband Larry of Bruceville, Brian Davis of Vincennes, Tammie Davis and her boyfriend Earian Plummer of Vincennes, Janie Vaughn Vincennes, Bill Davis and his wife Brandee of Vincennes; her siblings living in Riverton, Wyoming, Heath Smith, Robbin Smith, Lynn Menchaco and a brother in California Dean Smith; her grandchildren, Ollie, Everett, Aaron, Dexter, Ember and Matilda Barmes and step grandson Owen Schroeder. Jeannette was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Alan Davis.A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Nathan and Jessica Barmes' residence.
