Jerald Reed

Jerald A. Reed, 68, passed away 4:38 pm on June 19, 2021, at the Villages at Oakridge. Jerry was born on January 6, 1953, in Washington, IN to Willis and Wilda Joyce (Myers)Reed. He married Vickie Linn Frederick on April 12, 1975, and she preceded him in death on August 11, 2018.Jerry was a farmer and had worked at Railway. He attended New Hope Christian Church and Antioch Christian Church. He served as a volunteer fireman and enjoyed farming and all the work that went along with it.Survivors include his daughter, Kristy Killion and her husband Brad of Fishers, IN; his grandchildren, Hunter, Brody, and Ava Killion; sisters, Carolyn Winkler and her husband John, Judy Scott and her husband Howard, and Connie Quick and her husband Bill. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Vickie Linn Reed.Friends may visit with Jerry's family from 5-8 pm on Thursday, June 24, 2021, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 2020 State St., Washington, IN. Jerry's funeral service will begin at 11:00 am on Friday, June 25, 2021, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home and Jerry will be laid to rest next to his wife in Sugarland Memory Gardens.
