Jerry Booe

Jerry Dean Booe, 65, of Vincennes went to be with the Lord at 10:30 am Monday, January 21, 2019 at Good Samaritan Hospital.He was born March 4, 1953 at Camp Atterbury in Columbus, Indiana to William Dean and Patricia Ann (Harper) Booe.Jerry was Maintenance Director for Vincennes Community School Corporation for over 30 years. An Eagle Scout, Jerry still holds the track record for the 100 yard dash at Fountain Central High School. Jerry attended Christ Community Church and was a member of the Mason Local #114.Those left to cherish Jerry's memories are his wife of 46 years Dianna Suzette (Deckard) Booe; his mother, Patricia Ann Booe of Lehigh Acres, Florida; two daughters, Jennifer Ann Booe of Vincennes and Holly Marie (Booe) Melton of Newburgh; two grandchildren, Emylee Marie Ann Melton and Donovan Ray Daniel Melton of Newburgh; three brothers, Mark William Booe and his wife Phyllis of Lehigh Acres, Florida, Eric Ross Booe of Lehigh Acres, Florida, and David Lee Booe and his wife Darla of Westville, Illinois; and one sister, Monica Jane (Booe) Hollingsworth and her husband John of Lehigh Acres, Florida, along with several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his father.A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am Friday January 25, 2019 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Fellows officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 4-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
