Jill D. Cooper, 48, passed away at 2:20 pm on July 24, 2017 at her residence. Jill was born on April 20, 1969 in Bloomington the daughter of Jim and Becky Workman. Jill married Steve Cooper on September 19, 1992. Survivors include her husband Steve Cooper of Vincennes; daughter, Allison Cummins and her husband Brayton of Vincennes; son Mitchell Cooper of Vincennes; mother, Becky Workman Tolbert of Bloomington, father and step-mother Jim and Elaine Workman of Washington; brother Dan Workman and his wife, Tara of Bloomington; step-brothers Scott Kirchoff and his wife, Heather of Vincennes, Jason Kirchoff and his wife, Elizabeth of Hinsdale, IL; step- sister, Julie Kirchoff of Australia; sister-in-laws Jan Pepmeier and her husband, Randy of Salem, IN, Lana Cox and her husband, Mark of Newburgh, IN; nephews, Drew Workman and Logan Workman, Jason Pepmeier and his wife, Kandi, Lucas Meyer and his spouse Richie; nieces, Mia Workman, Jennifer Miller and her husband, Jeremy and Leslie Corn and her husband, Matt. Several great nephews and great nieces and other family members also survive. Jill had worked as a Patient Accounts Biller at Vincennes Orthopedic for Good Samaritan Hospital for several years and was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School. She was a 1987 graduate of Vincennes Lincoln High School and a 1989 graduate of Vincennes University where she received her associates degree in accounting. Her children and her family were her main priority and she loved her dog Walker. Jill enjoyed cooking, the VanDells, and attending Lincoln High School sporting events and watching IU basketball. She was awarded the Vincennes University Outstanding Alumni in 2000. Jill loved life and touched the lives of everyone she came into contact with.Funeral services for Jill will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at St. John's United Church of Christ 606 N. 5th St. with Rev. George Ford officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with Jill's family from 4-8 pm on Friday, July 28, 2017 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway. The family has requested that If you have a "For The Love of Jill" T-shirt to please wear it to the visitation. If you do not have one please wear anything teal. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Good Samaritan Hospice or St. John's United Church of Christ Children's Fund.
