Bishop Jimmie A. Kidd, 84, 124 Woodside Manor, New Castle, IN, passed away at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at his residence. He was born February 28, 1927 in Oblong, IL.Jimmie moved to Vincennes at the age of 16 where he began working for Tip Top Creamery. He later became a Pentacostal minister and his last church where he served was Beal Pentacostal.Survivors include his sons, Clifford Kidd and his wife, Joyce of New Castle, IN and Bill Kidd of Alvin, TX; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.Friends may visit with the family on Friday, July 1 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Beal Pentacostal Church.
