Joann Earl, 71, of Monroe City, IN, passed away on Feb. 2, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital. She had worked as a nurse's assistant, and was a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Monroe City. Born March 8, 1941, in Morgantown, KY, she was the daughter of Jodie S. and Juanita M. (Willett) Wilson. Her parents preceded her. Surviving are her daughters, Bridgett (Jonathan) Miller of Monroe City, and Kimberly (Steve) Hardyman of Villa Grove, IL; sisters, Millie Pettier of Greenwood, IN, and Brenda (Kenny) White of Kenny, IL; brothers, Jodie (Jane) Wilson of State College, PA, and Carl (Sharon) Wilson of Cedar Lake, IN; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, at 2:00, at the Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Monroe City. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 2:00 on Tuesday at the church. Interment will follow in the New Veale Creek Cemetery in Daviess County, IN. Goodwin Funeral Home is handling the arrantements.
