John Frisz

John G. Frisz II, 81, passed away at 10:20 a.m. Wednesday May 14, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital.He was born August 11, 1932 in Vincennes to Valentine and Marie (Wassman) Frisz.John owned and operated Frisz Greenhouse for many years. He belonged to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the American Legion.Surviving is his son John Frisz III and his wife Linda, of Vincennes; a grandson, Jason (Christina) Frisz of Loogootee; a great granddaughter, Emily Frisz; a step great grandson, Tristan Jones; and two sisters, Helen Houck of Brazil and Margaret Kaiser of Vincennes.John was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Irene Frisz, whom he married, June 4, 1967; and brothers and sisters, Verina Grassell, Robert Frisz, Rita Harrod, Valentine Frisz Jr., and Marie Frisz.Graveside services will be held at 1:30 Thursday, May 15 at 1:30 p.m. at Mount Calvary Cemetery with Rev.
