John Sommerlatte (Jack) HollJohn S. Holl, 90, died at 8:00 pm Sunday October 28, 2012 at Bridgepointe Health Campus.He was born on November 5, 1921 in Bucks County, PA to Paul and Margaret (Rupp) Holl.Jack served in the US Navy during WWII. He was an avid archery sportsman and golfer, having won the National Archery Eastern Division contest three times. Jack was the founder and owner of Pheasdale Archery and Sporting Goods Co. in Bucks County PA where many national meets were held.Jack's predeceased siblings were Marie Myers, Senator Edwin G. Holl, Charlie Holl, and Paul Holl, all of Bucks County, PA, Lansdale.In 1980 Jack married Loretta (Vieck) Holl in Lehigh Acres, FL. In 1982 they moved to Fort Myers, FL until 1992 when they moved to Vincennes to help care for Loretta's mother. Survivors include Jack's wife, Loretta (Vieck) Holl, a special niece, Sandy Evans and her husband Earl of Oriental, NC; devoted care-givers, Nephew-in-law and niece-in-law Bill and Debbie Vieck along with their four children, Tonya, Christopher, Simon, and Nathan (Jennifer) Vieck, and several other nieces and nephews. Bill and Debbie Vieck's family had a very special place in his life.Goodwin Funeral Home is in charge of cremation arrangements. There will be no visitation or service.
