John R. Jacobs, 75, 713 N. 9th St., Vincennes, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2011. Born August 9, 1936, in Vincennes, he was the son of the late Roy and Hallie Jacobs.John had worked at John Deere, Odonnel and Vincennes University. He was a member of Bethany Church and served his country in the United States Army.Survivors include his daughter, Kimberly Jacobs of Vincennes; sister, Gloria Van Eaton of Vincennes and grandchild, Jordan Donovan.Graveside services will be held Friday, November 4 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery.Online condolences may be sent through www.goodwinfamilyfh.com
