John T. Twitty

John Twitty, 83, of Vincennes, IN passed away January 13, 2023. He was born in Vincennes, IN on June 8, 1940, to the late Oscar and Martha (Scott) Twitty. John worked for several years through KCARC in their production plant as a laborer. He was a member of the United Pentecostal Tabernacle and was a strong man of faith. John was very involved with the Special Olympic and was on the bowling team. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, bingo, dancing, and watching westerns. John brought joy to all he encountered and will be deeply missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Martha Twitty; siblings Fred Twitty, Maxine Burlington, Junior Twitty, Robert Twitty, May Hendrick, Josephine Harper, Catherine Greene, Virginia McNew.

John is survived by his many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Twitty. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
