Jonathan Stafford

Jonathan L. Stafford, 58, of Washington, Indiana, passed away at 1:52 am on November 5, 2021, at Hillside Manor in Washington. He was born on December 2, 1962, to Merlin Stafford and Mary Lou (Noble) Stafford. Jonathan was a 1981 graduate of South Knox High School. He attended Vincennes University after graduating high school. He worked as a security guard for several years. In his spare time Jonathan enjoyed reading western books and reading sports books and magazines. Surviving Jonathan is his sister, Shawna Hart (Jim) of Loogootee, nieces Beth Melvin and Ashely Gutierrez, one great niece and four great nephews, and his special friends Trudy and Tony Fuhs of Montgomery, Indiana. Jonathan was preceded in death by his parents, Merlin and Mary Lou, his grandparents, Mable & Blake Stafford, and Lula & Porter Noble. Graveside services for Jonathan will be held on Wednesday November 10, 2021, at 10:00am at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Monroe City, Indiana with Father Scott Hedrick officiating. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the American Cancer Society at PO Box 22478, Oklahoma City, OK 73123.
