Joy Jacquelyn Davison Webber, 81, of Vincennes, passed away Sunday September 24, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital.She was born May 7, 1936 in Vincennes to Roy Edgar and Margaret (Dillon) Davison.Joy retired as the special needs nurse for Clark Junior High School and Lincoln High School and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She also held memberships in the Relief Society, and the Lincoln Athletic Booster Club. She was an avid Indiana University basketball and football fan, and any Lincoln Alices athletic event. Joy loved being with her family and enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading, and loved animals.Surviving are children, Darla Gail Webber of Vincennes, and John Junior (Lori) Webber of Indianapolis; a brother, Virgil (Mary) Davison of Vincennes; a grandson, John Jeremy Webber III; her sisters-in-law, Judy Davison of Vincennes, and Sylvia Howder of Vincennes; and her brothers-in-law, Dewey Webber of Connersville, Daniel Webber of Missouri, and Claude Webber of Missouri.Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, John Junior Webber , whom she married on September 3, 1955 and preceded her on October 20, 1974; and her brothers and sisters, Wilma Myers, Imogene Moyes, Maxine Baxley, Orval Davison, Ralph "Doc" Davison, Albert Davison, Zerilda Davison, Ada Belle Shoulders, Merle Davison, and Verle "Butch" Davison.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday September 26, 2017 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Bishop Dr. Austin Muranaka officiating. Burial will follow I the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from Noon until the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pet Port or the Lincoln and Clark Athletic Boosters.
