Joyce Puckett

Joyce Diane (Cundiff) Puckett, 79, passed away at her residence on October 15, 2022. Joyce was born on February 6, 1943, in Elizabethtown, KY and she is the daughter of Newman and Odessa (Byrd) Cundiff. Joyce is a member of Maumee General Baptist Church and was a caregiver for many years. She loved her family, her grandchildren and loved to be outdoors tending to her flowers. She also loved her dogs, Josie and Buck. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Puckett of Owensville, IN; son, Jerry Shannon Puckett of Owensville, IN; one granddaughter Shae Smith and her husband Jared; four great grandchildren, Paizlee Stocker, Emma Smith, Hanna Smith, and Ethan Smith. Joyce is also survived by her siblings, Michael Cundiff, Vanessa Johnson, Kevin Cundiff, Edman Cundiff, and Mark Cundiff. Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, Newman and Odessa Cundiff. Friends may visit with Joyce's family from 4:00 - 7:00 pm at Holder Funeral Home, 319 S. Main St., Owensville, IN. on Sunday, October 23, 2022. Joyce's funeral service will take place at 11:00 am on Monday, October 24, 2022, at Maumee General Baptist Church, 9482 IN-165, Owensville, IN 47665 with Pastor Kevin Miley officiating. Joyce will be laid to rest in Maumee Cemetery. Her pallbearers will be Kenneth Ellerman, Dwayne Wade, Michael Cundiff, Kevin Cundiff, Edman Cundiff, Mark Cundiff and Jared Smith.
