Joyce Woods

Joyce Lee Farmer Woods passed away from this life on Monday, October 17, 2022, in Owensville, Indiana at the age of 78. She was born on August 10, 1944, in Posey County Indiana. Those left to cherish her memories include two sons Phillip Garrett wife Mary, Gregory Garrett, five grandchildren Patrick, John, Zack, Ambria, Brianna, five great grandchildren, one brother Orbie Farmer wife Aline, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband George Garrett, one son Edward" Deano" Garrett, two sisters Francis Belcher, Virginia Byrns, two brothers Robert Farmer, John Farmer, father Felix Farmer, and mother Erma Cline Farmer. Joyce worked at Snap On as an Inspector for many years and retired from there. She loved her family very much and being outdoors was her favorite place to be. She loved to work in her yard, flower beds, and her garden. She will be deeply missed by all! Funeral services celebrating the life of Joyce Lee Farmer Woods will be held on Tuesday, October 25. 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Holder Funeral Home 319 South Main Street Owensville, Indiana. Officiating will be Pastor Bob Douglas. Interment will follow in the Owensville, Cemetery in Owensville. Visitation for family and friends will be on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, from 9:30 am until service time at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be John Garrett, Zachary Garrett, Jim Farmer, Rodney Farmer, John Farmer, and Austin Hedge.
