Joye Taylor
August 30, 1932 — April 4, 2025
Joye Taylor, 92, a resident of Colonial Assisted Living, passed away on Friday, April 4th, 2025 at 7:11 PM.
Joye was a lifetime resident of Vincennes and was proud to be a Hoosier. She and her husband co-owned The Hitching Post Antique Shop until retirement. Joye was a member of the Central Church of Christ. She also truly enjoyed her time in Florida at the beach.
Survivors include her son, Jeffry Davis; and a granddaughter, Samantha McCann; both residing in Washington State. Joye is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Taylor.
There will be no visitation or graveside service. No flowers please, but if you feel inclined, please donate to the Knox County Humane Society. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care of Joye.
