Judith Williamson

Judith M. Williamson, 77, of Newburgh, IN formerly Haubstadt, IN went to be with the Lord January 21, 2019. She was born in Griffin Indiana on June 3, 1941 to Clarence Eugene Freeman and Nona A. (Matz) Freeman. Judy graduated from Griffin High School in 1959. She married the love of her life, William H. Williamson September of 1959. Judy worked as a Cook for several restaurants and did factory work at a few local companies. She enjoyed making ceramics, painting, and running her fishing lure business with her husband, J&J's. Judy loved shopping and could window shop for hours! She also loved playing cards with the grandchildren and going to church. Judy was a member of Living Word Christian Church of Newburgh, IN and past member of Ft Branch Nazarene Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Nona Freeman and husband William H. Williamson. Judy is survived by her children Harold DeWayne (Nancy) Williamson, Robert Lynn (Gail) Williamson, and Patricia "Trish" Marie (Troy) Bailey; sister Jeanella (Bill) Shelby; 18 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 14 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions can be made to Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Judy's honor, P.O. Box 282 Griffin, IN 47616. The family would like to thank Hamilton Pointe in Newburgh for their hard work, special care, and compassion. Holder's Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Williamson. Visitation will be held at Holders Funeral Home 319 S. Main St. Owensville, IN on Thursday, January 24th, from 4-8 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 25th, at 10:00 am with Pastor Mike Claypool officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Griffin, IN.
