It is with tender hearts we bid farewell to Judy Tryon, a beacon of love and compassion, who left us on December 5, 2023. Born on May 26, 1932, in Vincennes, Indiana. Judy was a woman of vibrant passions, a dedicated worker, and a lover of life's simple yet profound joys.
Judy dedicated many years serving her community in the retail industry. Her interactions with customers were always personal and heartfelt, radiating her genuine love for people. She was a woman who found joy in the everyday, whether it was tending to her flower garden, traveling with her late husband James Tryon, or losing herself in the melodies of gospel music. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life. Judy's love for God and her family were the driving forces behind everything she did. She was a living testament to the quote by Mahatma Gandhi, "Where there is love there is life."
Judy is survived by her sons, Mike Tryon (Terri) and Brad Tryon, and her granddaughter, Michelle Meuser (Jason). Her spirit will forever be carried within their hearts. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband James Tryon, her son Dennis Tryon, and her parents, John and Nettie Zimmerman. We invite friends and family to join us in celebrating Judy's life on Friday, December 8, 2023, at Goodwin-Sievers – Vincennes Funeral Home, located at 524 Broadway Street, Vincennes, Indiana, 47591.
