June Dosier

June E. Dosier, 78, of Griffin, IN passed away September 6, 2021. She was born June 9, 1943 in Griffin, IN to the late Roscoe Riley Roeder and Hazel (Blackford) Roeder. June attended and graduated from Owensville High School then completed some classes at Lockyear College. She held many positions through life. June was a CNA at the Grayville, IL nursing home, Cook for the Playhouse in Poseyville, and most importantly she was a Caregiver for Mr. and Mrs. Rodgers for many years. She didn't have many hobbies other than working hard for her family, but she did enjoy shopping trips. June was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Billy Orr, second husband Floyd Nichols, and third husband Bennie Dosier; and sisters Virginia Browning and Mary Hogan. She is survived by her daughter Shawnee Nichols; adopted children Amber Mattingly and Bernetta Anderson; grandchildren Cody Jarvis, Sierra Nichols, Kyla Nichols, Joshua, Jessica, Christian, Cassandra, Chelsea, Thomas, and Megan; great-grandchildren Zy'Aire Cole and Meliah Vincent; and siblings Claud Roeder, Reba Stiles, Barbara Mick-Bane, Bernetta Davis, and Franklin "Joe" Roeder. Holder's Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Dosier. Graveside services will be held at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Griffin, IN. September 17th at 12 pm.
