Karen Sue Crabtree Dike passed away from this life on Friday, May 26, 2023, at the age of 69 in Evansville, Indiana at the Linda E. White Hospice House. She was born on May 5, 1954, in Princeton, Indiana.


Those left to cherish her memories include her husband and best friend Al Dike, three children, Kelly Byrnes husband Albert, Kristie Treadway husband Tom, Kenny Treadway, six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, five siblings, Mike Crabtree wife Nancy, Dennis Crabtree, Jeff Crabtree wife Yolanda, Lynda Deal husband Dean, Nancy Elliott husband Brad, two special friends, Carol Kerns, Kathy Garrett, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.


Karen Sue Crabtree Dike is preceded in death by one daughter Micki Johns, her parents, Robert Crabtree and Betty Moore Crabtree.


Karen Sue Crabtree Dike graduated from Owensville High School in the class of 1973. Later in life she meets her husband and best friend Al Dike and they got married on February 23, 1979. She worked for Potter and Brumfield in Princeton for 15 years, and Vuteq for 15 years also. She is a member of the First Christian Church in Owensville. Karen loved her family and friends very much. The summertime was her favorite time of the year. Going to Kentucky Lake with Al and the kids was one of her favorite things to do! Walking the beaches, going out on the lake for a boat ride or just going swimming was her enjoyment! Just being outdoors near the lake was her favorite vacation. She will be deeply missed by all!


Funeral services celebrating the life of Karen Sue Crabtree Dike will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 7:00 PM at the First Christian Church in Owensville. Officiating will be Pastor Bart Newton. Interment will follow in the Mauck Cemetery in Owensville Indiana at a later date.


Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 3:00 pm until service time at the First Christian Church in Owensville, Indiana. Holder Funeral Home is honored and entrusted with the care of Karen and her family. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Ckodali, The Fusion Center, and Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville Indiana for the love, kindness and compassion they had for Karen and her family.
