Karen Jeffers

Karen E. (Kamplain) Jeffers, 62, of Washington, Indiana, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Daviess Community Hospital in Washington. She was born on November 20, 1959, to Marvin and Rose Sowders Kamplain, in Washington, Indiana. On June 18, 1977, Karen married the love of her life, Mark L. Jeffers. They spent over 45 years together happily married, and together they had one son: Joshua. Karen was a member of the Greater Vision Church in Washington, Indiana. She loved to write Christian poems, and had over seventy - five poems published, along with her book called, "Our Time". She also enjoyed sharing her poems on her Facebook page for her friends to read and enjoy. Karen loved her family, and especially loved spending time with her granddaughter, Eris. Surviving Karen is her mother, Rose Sowders Kamplain husband, Mark L. Jeffers of Washington, Indiana, her son, Joshua Jeffers, of Washington, Indiana, siblings, Jeff Kamplain, Theresa Rose, Debbie, Laurie Mason, Sally Joe Moore, David, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and two great - great nieces. She was preceded in death by father, Marvin, and her sister, Sue Sullivan. Services for Karen will be announced at a later date, and she will be cremated per her wishes.
