Kathleen Moore

Kathleen Elizabeth Moore passed away from this life on Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton, Indiana at the age of 78. She was born on March 15, 1944, in Washington, Indiana to Merle Miley and Delma Byrd Miley. Those left to cherish her memories include one son Michael Moore wife Angela, two granddaughters, McKenzie Moore, Hannah Moore, special friend Betty Ross, along with numerous nieces, nephews, Ping family and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Merle Miley, Delma Byrd Miley, and one brother David Miley. Kathleen Elizabeth Moore graduated from Owensville High School and went on to Indiana Beauty College and graduated there with a Beautician Licenses. She is a member of the Fist General Baptist Church in Owensville, member of the Christian Church in Owensville. She was a hairdresser for many years. She loved doing her clients hair. Crocheting was her passion. Making blankets, baby clothes, and other clothing she had a talent for. She loved to make crafts. Baking Christmas cookies with her two granddaughters was her favorite thing to do at Christmas time. She loved to visit and talk to her friends when she could get out or when they would come by to visit her. She will be deeply missed by all. Celebration of life for Kathleen Elizabeth Moore will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 2:00 pm at the First General Baptist Church in Owensville, Indiana. Officiating will be Pastor Bob Douglas. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, from 12:00 noon until service time at the church. Graveside services celebrating the life of Kathleen Elizabeth Moore will be at a later date. Memorials may be to the Shriners in honor of Kathleen Moore.
