Kathy Heacock

Katherine R. Heacock, 61, passed away at 6:48 on February 6, 2022, at Good Samaritan Hospital. Kathy was born on February 20, 1960, in East Chicago, IN and she was the daughter of Charles and Janice (Bauer) Baker. Kathy married Ronnie Heacock on July 1, 1978. Kathy was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and worked for Rucker's Wholesale and Services Co. in management for fifteen years, retiring from there to take care of her grandchildren. In Kathy's spare time she enjoyed being with her husband Ronnie, spending time with her grandchildren as well as spoiling them, Bingo, and going to church. Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Heacock of Bicknell; her mother, Janice Federico of Gary, IN; her children, John Heacock and his wife Angela of Bicknell, Tabitha Heacock and her companion Lance Hatfield of Vincennes, Amanda Ellerman of Bicknell; her grandchildren who she adored, Gabby, Brayten, Emmaleigh, Gracelynn, Kylee, Mykenzee, Brantlee, Paislee, Weslee, step grandchildren, Ian, Kaylee, Kolton; great grandchild, Azariah; brother, Kevin Baker and his wife Denise of Hobart, IN; step-sisters, Debbie Minyard and her husband Jim of Griffith, IN, Andrea Federico and her husband Erich, of Florida; step-brothers, Tony Federico of New Chicago, IN and Scott Federico of Tennessee. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Kathy is preceded in death by her father, Charles Baker and brother, Keith Baker. Friends may visit with Kathy's family and friends from noon until the hour of service time of 2:00 pm at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN 47591.
