Keiston R. Holloway, 58, passed away at IU Methodist Hospital on January 18, 2022. Keiston was born in Ripley, TN on August 19, 1963, he was the son of Dorothy Parker and Roy L. Holloway, and accepted Christ at Morning Star Baptist Church in Ripley, TN Keiston served his country in the United States Army and was the Indiana State Chaplain, 7th District and Post Chaplain for the VFW, as well as a lifetime member of the VFW and a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed golfing, camping, traveling to Panama City Beach, FL and was a huge sports fanatic. Keiston also volunteered in many ways, he was on the Vincennes City Cemetery Board and went to the Ronald McDonald House on a monthly basis just to name a few ways in which he gave back to his community. Keiston always had a smile on his face and was a great inspiration to everyone. Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Holloway of Vincennes, father, Roy Holloway of Vincennes; his sisters, LaVette Holloway of Memphis, TN, Wilma Holloway of Brownsburg, IN, LaDell Holloway of Indianapolis, IN, Christine Holloway of Ft. Wayne, IN; his significant other of thirty-one years, Dawn Ellerman of Indianapolis, niece, Destiny Flowers of Dallas, TX, nephew, Creon Hall of Memphis, TN., nephew Keoni Lands of Indianapolis, IN, nieces, Keira and Daylan Segura of Bloomington, IN; five great nieces and one great nephew. Keiston was preceded in death by his sister, Bridgett LaNay Holloway. Friends may visit with Keiston's family from 11:00 am until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St., Vincennes, IN 47591. Keiston will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery where military rites will be conducted at the gravesite. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is privileged and honored to be entrusted with the care of Keiston.
