Keith Kennedy

Keith Allen Kennedy, 61, passed away at 6:15pm on May 10, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital Hospice Care. Keith was born April 15, 1955 in Vincennes, the son of Ernest "Pooch" Kennedy and Ruby (Tevebaugh) Berry.Keith was a graduate of Lincoln High School and attended Vincennes University. He had worked at The Drive in Theatre in Westport, Dollar General, AT&T, Knox County Daily News, Ewing Printing, and Jewels Flowers.Keith enjoyed interior decorating and creating his beautiful flower garden at his residence. He was extremely smart, witty, funny and sometimes obnoxious but he always made the people around him laugh. That was his greatest gift; he loved people and he loved to laugh! He was also especially proud of all his nieces and nephews. The best way to describe him with three words: "Damned good guy".Keith is survived by his brothers, Dave "Bear" Hedden and his wife Jeanie of Vincennes, IN and Terry Kennedy and his wife Cynthia of Evansville, IN; His best friend, "the sister he never had" Jeannie (Street) Andrews and her husband Pat of Vincennes, IN; nieces and nephews, Josh Finatri and his wife Brandy of Vincennes, IN, Erin Witt and her husband Robert "Shiz" Witt of Fishers, IN, Abby Boover and her husband Allan of Vincennes, IN, Matt Kennedy and Stephanie of Evansville, IN, Ryan Kennedy and Erin of Evansville, IN and Caden Kennedy of Evansville, IN; Great-nieces and nephews, Kaylan Finatri, Madison and Carter Becher, Maybre Kennedy, Nora Witt and Adallan Boover;and his friends, in which way too many to list.He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest "PoocH" Kennedy and Ruby (Tevebaugh) Berry, and his step-father Don Berry of Vincennes, IN.A Celebration of Life will be held at the Country Club of Old Vincennes "Slicers" at a later time with a graveside service announced later also, In Lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Riley Children's Hospital and GSH Hospice.
