Kenneth L. Perry went to heaven on April 30, 2020 in Vincennes, IN. Kenneth L. Perry was born to Edwin and Opal McCormick Perry on February 17, 1932. Kenneth was born in Harrison Township, Knox County, Indiana and was a lifelong resident. Kenny graduated from Monroe City High School in 1951 where he played basketball and baseball for the Blue Jeans.Kenny married Loretta June Noble on June 24, 1951 and they were married for 60 years until Loretta's passing in 2011. His children are Suzanne (Mike) Swain of Vincennes and David (Beth) Perry of Crawfordsville, IN. He was blessed with five granddaughters: Julie (Lee) Westgerdes, Allison (Aaron) Chalfant, Lauren Perry (companion Byron Holly), Katie (Kyle) McKinsey, Danielle (Joshua) Jenkins. The joy of Kenny's life was his great grandchildren: Ruby June Chalfant, Knox Michael Chalfant, Eliza Belle Westgerdes, Ayden Scott Oliver, Madelyn Marie Downing, Kamrin Holly, and Baby McKinsey expected arrival in May.Kenny is survived by sisters Freida (James) Brown of Port Huron, MI and Judy (Bill) Tillman of The Villages, FL. Kenny has two surviving brothers in law Myron (Lois) Noble and Lee Eldon Noble and sister in law, Doris Noble Green. Kenny loved his nieces and nephews and thought the world of them.Kenny was a Korean War Veteran serving his country in the US Army, Engineering Corp 808 from 1951-1953. Kenny enjoyed memberships in Indiana Presbyterian Church and Monroe City Masonic Lodge #548 (60 years). Kenny was an operating engineer throughout his career. Kenny had a passion for his farm and the horses he cared for throughout his life. One of his best days was when he took the Veteran Honor Flight to Washington, DC with granddaughter Julie.Those proceeding Kenny in death are his parents, his beloved wife Loretta June, sister Janice Clark and brother in law Brian Noble.Private graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes, IN on Monday, May 4, 2020 at 12:30pm. Those who wish to watch the graveside service can do so on Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home Facebook page and will be notified when it goes live. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Indiana Presbyterian Church Gemini Mission Camp. 2431 S. Lower Indiana Rd. Vincennes, IN 47591.
