Kenneth Peters

Kenny Peters, 57, passed away at 10:18 am on August 1, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Kenny was born on August 23, 1955 in Vincennes the son of Wayne Alan and Helen (Hollen) Peters.Kenny was a Respiratory Therapist having worked for Lawrence County Hospital, Wabash County Hospital, Crawford County Hospital, and Good Samaritan Hospital. Kenny was of the Christian faith. He enjoyed collecting stamps and coins, was a member of the Vincennes Masonic Lodge #1, was a football nut, and coached YMCA football for several years. Kenny was also an avid Vincennes Lincoln Alices fan for many years.Survivors include his parents, Wayne and Helen Peters of Vincennes; sister, Pam McCrary and her husband, Paul "Bunk" McCrary of Vincennes; niece, Danyelle McCrary of Vincennes; Nephew, Curtis McCrary of Vincennes; Aunts and Uncles, Steve and Amy Hollen of Evansville; Rod and Chris Hollen of Newburgh; Marlene Peters of Champaign, Il; Gary and Donna Hall of Vincennes; and Bud and Jean Peters of of Vincennes. Kenny was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ruby and Orville Hollen and paternal grandparents, Cznenie and Helen Peters.Graveside services for Kenny will be held at 2:15 pm on Monday, August 5, 2013 at Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Ray Tromley officiating. Burial will follow.
