Kenneth Russell

Kenneth "Kenny" Wayne Russell, 75, of Bicknell, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at his residence.He was born July 14, 1944 in Vincennes, Indiana to Kenneth and Ilene (Blakely) Russell and was raised by his grandparents Arnold and Mable Russell.Kenny worked as a Millwright for Local #1076 His memberships included Bicknell First Baptist Church and the Eagles. He enjoyed his motorcycle and was passionate on taking care of his ride. He also enjoyed mushroom hunting and deer hunting.Surviving are his wife Sharon (Dunn) Russell whom he married on July 28, 1967; his seven children Robin Beamon and her fianc Bill Palmer of Vincennes, Patty Ann Smith and her husband Kevin of Vincennes, Tina Beamon and her wife Stacy Ground of Bicknell, Candy Hulen and her husband David of Oaktown, Lonnie Russell and his wife Dana of Garden City, KS, Bradley Russell and his wife Sherry of Knoxville, TN, and Robert Russell of Vincennes; his brothers Donald Russell and his wife Deann of Greenwood, John Russell of Wheatland, and his sister Mary Savene of Wheatland. Also surviving are his grandchildren Nicole Baker and her husband Adam, Vanessa Benjamin, Karen Mincey and her husband Brandon, Missy Carpenter and her husband Jack, Heather Dillon and her husband Scott, Kelly Lazer and her husband Clay, Austin Russell, Erica Russell, and Chase Russell, and five great grandchildren he helped raised Nicole, Aryanna, Vanessa, Dahlia, Ian, and Noxsin; along with 35 great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents.Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, February 24, 2020 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes with burial to follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
