Kevin Gilliatt

Kevin E. Gilliatt, 53, of Vincennes, passed away at 7:50 pm Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital.He was born August 6, 1965 in Vincennes to Lyle and Audrey (Ray) Gilliatt Sr.Kevin married Lisa (Jackson) Gilliatt in 1988 and she preceded him in 1996.Kevin had worked at Gilliatt Oil Company, Neon Sign Company, and Highway Oil, and was a 1985 graduate of Lincoln High School. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, Harley Davidsons, and collecting Hot Wheels.Surviving are his children, Heather Gilliatt, Amanda Brand and her husband Bryan, Zachery Gilliatt, all of Vincennes; two brothers, Tom Peters and his wife Lora, and James Peters both of Vincennes; his grandchildren, Landon Ikemire, Camden Ikemire, Peyton Elkins, Layla McCoy, Bailey Brand, and Bryleigh Gilliatt; a step sister, Shirley Stangle and her husband John, and a step brother, David Bruner, both of Vincennes.He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Patricia Jamison; three brothers, Lyle Gilliatt Jr., Skip Gilliatt, and Richard Gilliatt; and his special buddy, Timothy Christmas.Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm Thursday at Goodwin Funeral Home.
