Kevin Kahre

Kevin D. Kahre, 53, of Vincennes, passed away at 9:45 am Saturday, November 21, 2020 at his residence.He was born February 17, 1967 in Vincennes, Indiana to Stephen and Paula (Wilkes) Kahre.Kevin worked in Forklift Logistics for FIA and was a member of the Moose and NRA. Kevin loved spending time with his family, hanging out at the river, singing karaoke, and driving his Bel Air car around that was known as Betsy.Surviving are his wife Michelle (McGuire) Kahre whom he married December 13, 2015; his mother and step-father Paula and Steve Land of Holland, Indiana; his daughters Olivia Kahre of Vincennes and Cecilia Ray and her husband Jacob of Decker; his step-children Cameron Carver of Vincennes, and Chelsie Kirk and her husband Korben of Effingham; his sister Lynn Goodman and her husband Bill of Bruceville; his brother Steve Kahre and his wife Kathy of Vincennes; his grandchildren Lucas Kirk, Eli Ray, Elizabeth Blaize, Carlee Kirk, Henry Blaize, and Westin Ray who is on the way; along with his niece and nephews Josh Shoulders, Garrett Goodman, and Breanna Small and her husband Cole.Also surviving are his in-laws Jill and Troy Strahley of Vincennes, and Mike McGuire of Vincennes; and brother-in laws and sister in-laws Sean and Christina McGuire, Brady McGuire of Bridgeport, IL, and Shaylon Stahley of Vincennes. Kevin was preceded in death by his father Stephen Kahre.Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2020 from 4 to 8 pm at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 am at Hamline Chapel Cemetery with Nathan Rastl officiating.
