Kyla Jo Paz
November 29, 1980 — March 19, 2025
Kyla Jo Paz (Webb), passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at her residence. In 2009, upon learning of her pregnancy, she was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and informed termination and immediate chemotherapy were necessary, with a survival prognosis of merely two months. However, she overcame the odds, and her child is now 15 1/2 years old.
Kyla was born on November 29, 1980 to Gary and Debbie Webb. She enjoyed making memories with Alex the love of her life! She lived life to the fullest and had a great support system. For the 16 years she fought cancer and myasthenia gravis, her family and friends provided unwavering support.
Kyla is survived by Alex Paz, her son of Vincennes, her parents, Gary and Debbie Webb of Carlisle, her brother Greg Webb of Carlisle, two nieces, one nephew, one great niece, one great nephew, as well as aunts, uncles, and cousins. Kyla is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Kenny and Beverly Lamb of Carlisle, and Ted Dye Sr. of Vincennes, Paternal grandparaents, Lyle and June Webb of Paxton.
A graveside service for Kyla will be held Friday, March 28, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Memorial Park Cemetery. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care of Kyla.
