Laretta D. Bush

Laretta D. Bush, 87, of Owensville, IN went to be with the Lord on August 4, 2024. She was born in Gibson County to late Arthur and Grace (McClellan) Peach on December 15, 1936. Laretta graduated from Owensville High School. She married the love of her life, William O. Bush Jr., on July 21, 1961. Laretta worked for 10 years with Walmart at the customer service desk. In her free time, she enjoyed quilting, sewing, knitting, crocheting, baking, solving jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed.
Laretta was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Grace Peach; husband William Bush Jr.; son Ronald Bush; grandson Kerry Teeters; great-grandson Leo Teeters; siblings Earl Peach, Dan Peach, Raymond Peach, Aretta Wright.
She is survived by her children Deborah Wilhite, Gary (Rella) Bush, Tammy (Bobby) Teeters; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brother Winfred "Bud" Peach; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mrs. Bush. Visitation will be held August 8, 2024, at First Christian Church of Owensville from 11 am CST to service time. The funeral service will begin promptly at 1 pm CST with bural at Owensville Cemetery following.
