Larry H. Cooper, 84, passed away at 9:46 am on January 26, 2021 at Good Samaritan Hospital surrounded by his family. Larry was born on November 28, 1936 in Vincennes the son of Thomas and Marie (Allen) Cooper. He married Margaret "Ann" Kennedy on November 11, 1963.Larry was a 1954 graduate of Vincennes Lincoln High School and served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Upon being honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force in 1963, Larry started his career at Vincennes Welding and eventually owned and operated the business until 1999. He was a member of the Hadi Shrine, Vincennes #1 Masonic Lodge F&AM, American Legion, VFW, and the Harmony Society. Larry also enjoyed making bird houses and he especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren in whatever activities they were involved with.Survivors include his wife, Ann Cooper of Vincennes; daughter, Amy Eubank and her husband Troy "Chewby" of Vincennes; sisters, Nancy Schaeffer of Vincennes, Helen Twitty of Cummings, GA, Katherine "Kitty" Keller of Vincennes, Ginger Wollerman of Vincennes; his grandchildren, Kayala Cooper, Nathan Eubank and his wife Katelyn, Jana McKinnon and her husband Levi, Ashleigh Cooper, Gage Cooper, Alexis Cooper, his great grandchildren, Waylon Eubank and Harper McKinnon. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Jana Cooper, son, Brad Cooper, brothers, Thomas and Bobby Cooper, and his sisters, Luella Black and Idella Pipher.Friends may visit with Larry's family from noon until the hour of service time of 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, and Larry will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery. The Cooper family has requested donations be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children-St. Louis, 4400 Clayton Ave., St. Louis, MO 63110.
