Larry Fields

Larry E. Fields, 68, of Wheatland, IN, passed away May 31, 2014, at Good Samaritan Hospital. He had worked in the Maintenance Dept. at Packaging Corp. for 42 years. Larry was a member of the Wheatland United Methodist Church, and had served in the US Navy. Born Nov. 8, 1945, in Lawrenceville, IL, he was the son of Grant and Patricia (Tewell) Fields. They preceded him. Surviving is his wife, Mary Jane (Patrick) Fields, of Wheatland, IN; his sons, Patrick Fields (significant other - Olga Cardenas) of Greenwood, IN, Daniel Fields of Wheatland, IN, and Tim Fields (significant other - Lizz Long) of Indianapolis, IN; a sister, Sandee (Mike) Hatton of Bruceville, IN, ; brothers, Paul (Denise) Fields of Greenwood, IN, and Ollie (Lisa) Fields of Vincennes; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, at 2:00, at Goodwin Funeral Home, with Pastor Jarrod Chattin officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 - 2:00 on Tuesday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Wheatland Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Wheatland United Methodist Church.
