Larry Gibson

Larry R. Gibson, 68, of Monroe City, passed away at 4:24 am Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Good Samaritan Hospital.He was born February 27, 1952 in Dixon, Kentucky to George Curtis Gibson and Mildred (Lanham) Tucker.Larry worked for many years at McGiffen's Radiator Repair and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.Surviving are his wife Mary (Coffman) Gibson whom he married February 4, 1981; daughters, Melissa McGavic and her husband Scott of Monroe City, and Janet Peach and her husband Mark of Washington; his brothers and sisters, Carla, Cristy, Connie, Cathy, Jeannie, Retha, Buster, and Jimmy; his grandchildren DayLynn Gibson, Tiffany McGavic, Tyler McGavic, Tanner McGavic, Haley Peach, Nikki Peach, and Nathai Peach; along with three great granddaughters and three great grandsons.He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Larry Gibson II, sisters, Shirley and Lisa, and a grandson Bryden Gibson.Graveside services will be Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 1:00 in Memorial Park Cemetery.
