Larry Lane

Larry Lee Lane, 77, of Vincennes, IN passed away October 20, 2021. He was born in Sullivan, IN on June 6, 1944 to the late Earnest Mearl Lane and Virginia (Hollingsworth) Lane. Larry graduated from Bruceville High School in 1963. After graduation he chose to serve his country and join the United States Army. Larry married Charlene (Hutchison) Lane on October 5, 1991 and spent 30 joyful years together. He enjoyed many things in life such as farming, driving tractors, watching Smokey and the Bandit, spending time at the shop with the boys and loving on his grandchildren. Larry will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his parents. Larry is survived by his wife, Charlene; children Todd Andrew Lane, Bart (Janis) Butler, Michelle (Mike) Halter, Max Butler (Michelle Wallace) and Kent (Shawna) Butler; grandchildren Christy Butler, Dakota Butler, Logan Butler, Geoff Bilskie, Andy Bilskie, Luke Halter, Mikayla Butler, Dylan Butler, Daniel Butler and Ricky Lane; great-grandchildren Delilah, Collin and Kyndall Bilskie, Clayton Halter and Raelynn Butler; siblings Jerry J. (Cheryl) Lane and Mickie Lane-Fredericks; nephews Ryan (Shelly) Lane and Jamie (Jessie) Lane; niece Jennifer (Michael) Dorsey; great nieces and nephews Cora, Owen, and Mason Lane and William, Catherine, and Vivian Dorsey. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Lane. A visitation will be held at Goodwin-Sievers Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 11am-2pm.
