Larry Mikiska

Larry Joe Mikiska, 81, of Vincennes, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at his residence.He was born December 15, 1938 in Vincennes, Indiana to Joseph and Irene ( Pruett ) Mikiska.Larry worked for 44 years at Vincennes Steel and was a member of the local #585 Iron Workers Union.He was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (Sacred Heart).He enjoyed spending time with family. He loved the outdoors especially hunting and fishing with family and friends.Surviving are his wife Phyllis (Leimbach) Mikiska whom he married on July 19th, 1957; his children Debbie Guentert of Evansville, Walter Mikiska and his wife Dana of Fort. Wayne, Pam Carie and her husband Bobby of Bruceville, Ron Mikiska of Vincennes, Lori Phegley and her husband Jeff of Fairbanks, IN, Daniel Mikiska and his wife Kris of Vincennes, and Doug Mikiska and his wife Dawn of Vincennes; his grandchildren Jodi Hoover, Jessica Hang, Megan Carie, B.J. Carie, Blake Rosenberry, Savannah Bennett, Hope Parish, Jade Mikiska, andGarrett Mikiska; along with several great grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter Rebecca Mikiska; and a sister Nancy Williams.There will be no public services.
