Larry Robinson

Larry Joel Robinson, age 67 of Owensboro died Sunday, February 26th at his home. Born April 28, 1938, he was the son of W.A.SolRobinson and ThelmaTillieRobinson. He served in the U.S.Navy and was a graduate of Brescia University. He was a Certified Public Accountant and had practiced accounting in Ohio and Butler Counties for over 42 years. He was a member of the American Institue of Certified Public Accountants and the Kentucky Society of CPA's. For over 30years, he was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Ohio County, prior to becoming a member of St. Stephen Cathedral in Owensboro. Along with his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Camilla KayRobinsonCalhoun. He is survived by his wife of 42years, MariannaWillettRobinson, three children and five grandchildren. His children include; two sons, Martin Todd Robinson and his wife, Chele Robinson of Louisville and Matthew Troy Robinson and his wife, CeCelia Robinson of Masonville, Ky.; daughter, Allison Leigh Robinson of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The grandchildren are Jack Morgan Robinson and Joseph Clay Robinson of Louisville and Matthew Miller Robinson, Benjamin Patrick Robinson and Anna Caroline Robinson all of Masonville, Ky. Services are at 3:30pm., Wednesday, March 1, 2006 at St. Stephen Cathedral with Reverend John Vaughan officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter Cemetery in Stanley, Ky. Visitation is from 2 to 8pm. Tuesday and 11 to 3pm. Wednesday at the funeral home. Prayers will be said at 6pm. Tuesday at the funeral home.
