Larry Young

Larry G. Young, 73, of Vincennes, passed away November 23, 2013, at the New Willow Manor.He had been a truck driver all of his life. During the Vietnam War, he served in the US Army.Born September 20, 1940, in Decker, IN, Larry was the son of Walter Reily and Clara Bell (Peach) Young. His parents; a daughter, Brenda Hoover; a sister, Rhonda Cates; and a nephew, Tony Quarterman, all passed away before him.Surviving are his children, Shawn Hoover of Lawrenceville, IL, Tony Hoover of Vincennes, Perry Walker of Cleveland, TN, Tammy Adams of Oaktown, IN, and Carol Carmean of Vincennes; a brother, Rex (Glenda) Young of Vincennes; sisters, Karen (Richard) Cox and Judy (George) Quarterman, both of Vincennes, and Phyllis Patton of Crawfordsville, IN; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 - 2:00 on Tuesday, at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway.
