Lee Noble

Lee E. Noble, 92, passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital at 9:00 am on October 29, 2022. Lee was born in Vincennes on January 11, 1930 and is the son of Cyrus A. and Blanche A. (Downey) Noble. Lee was a graduate of Monroe City High School and attended St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Vincennes. Lee worked for the YMCA of Vincennes for many years and was known for showing up at 5 am every morning just to have the facility open for anyone that wanted to come early. He was also very active with genealogy and in the Knox County Public Library. Survivors include his brother, Myron Noble of Vincennes as well as several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. Lee is preceded in death by his parents, Cyrus A. and Blance A. Downey, his brother Brian Noble, and his sister, Loretta Perry. Graveside services for Lee will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, November 3, 2022, at Memorial Park Cemetery, 919 Willow St., Vincennes, IN.
