Leon Althoff

Leon M. Althoff, 83, of Bicknell, passed away at 10:15 p.m. Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at his residence.He was born January 7, 1930 in Vincennes to Henry and Pauline (Blubaum) Althoff.Leon was a self employed truck driver and served in the Army for 11 years. He was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church, American Legion, and 40 et 8.Surviving is his wife, Patty J. (Wallace) Althoff; his children, Dennis Althoff of Bicknell, Karen Althoff of Vincennes, and Jeffrey Althoff of Bicknell; his brothers, Jim Althoff of Vincennes, and Dr. Richard Althoff of Peoria, AZ,; his granddaughter, Tiffany Talbert; his great grandchildren, Gator Smith, Preston Roark, Gage, Paige, and Gerald Talbert; and a Godchild, Sandra Bloodworth.Preceding Leon in death were his parents, and his brothers and sisters, Arnold Althoff, Sylvester Althoff, Henry Althoff Jr., Marcella Brown, Lawrence Althoff, Earl Althoff, Raymond Althoff, and Norman Althoff.Graveside services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. August 30, 2013 at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev.
