Leonara Bunting

Lenora C. Bunting, 85, passed away at 8:38 pm on Friday, January 2, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Lenora was born on January 10, 1929 in Beech Grove, AR the daughter of Oral and Paola (Stallcup) Yates. She married Otis Tyner on October 23, 1948 and he preceded her in death on August 30, 1978. She then married Dwight Cardwell on December 13, 1979 and he preceded her in death on December 18, 1993. She then married Robert E. Bunting on January 26, 1996 and he survives.Lenora graduated in 1947 from Oak Grove High School and worked for Emerson Electric for nine years and then owned and operated her own dress shop for several years. Lenora was also a traveling Evangelizing Minister having traveled across the country and overseas for forty years. She was a member of Cornerstone Ministries, a member of the International Ministerial Association and enjoyed quilting.Survivors include her husband, Robert Bunting of Oaktown; son, Michael "Mike" Tyner and his wife Dolores of Vincennes; grandson, Michael "Kelly" Tyner and his wife Aaron of Vincennes; great granddaughter, Katelyn Tyner and sister-in-law, Cathryn Yates of Paragould, AR. Lenora was preceded in death by her parents, her first and second husband, granddaughter, Samantha Tyner, brother, Jerry "J.W." Yates, and sister, Nola Mae Yates Ussery. Friends may visit with Lenora's family on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 4-8 pm est. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway. Funeral services for Lenora will be held at 11:00 am est. on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Cornerstone Ministries, 4370 Highway 41 North in Vincennes with Pastor Jim Evans, Rev. Tom Smith and Rev. Joyce Williamson and Rev. Ed Nichols officiating. Friends may also visit with Lenora's family from 10:00 am until the hour of service time of 11:00 am on Wednesday at the church. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Cornerstone Ministries, 4370 Highway 41 North, Vincennes, IN 47591 with funds going to International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
