Lillian A. Coleman, 87, passed away at 2:10 a.m. July 17, 2012 at Oak Village Nursing Home in Oaktown, Indiana.She was born August 29, 1924 in Vincennes, Indiana to Barney and Delia (Murphy) Reeves.Lillian retired as an operator for Indiana Bell working there from 1946 through 1978. She was a member of the Franklin Heights Christian Church, the telephone pioneers, and the American Legion Post #73. Lillian served her country in the Waves during World War II for two years. Surviving is a daughter, Janet Daugherity and her husband Tom of Vincennes; a son, Ralph L. Coleman Jr. of Vincennes; a brother, James Reeves of Austria; 2 grandchildren, Christopher Daugherity and Brooke Williams; and a great grandson, Jared Daugherity.She was preceded in death by her parents,; husband, Ralph L. Coleman, whom she married on August 30, 1947 and preceded her in death on April 22, 1998; and three brothers.Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 20, 2012 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Ron Barnes officiating.
