Linda Barnes

Linda Barnes, 71, passed away at 1:08 am on October 11, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born in Washington, IN on December 7, 1952 and she is the daughter of James and Ruth (Schoffstoll) Bogard. She married Lloyd Barnes and he preceded her in death.

Linda was a member of Vincennes Avenue Wesleyn Church in Washington and she enjoyed crafts.

Linda is survived by her two daughters, Nancy Christenberry and Edna Rose Archer both of Washington; her siblings, Bobby Bogard, Phyllis Coulter, Erma Knight, Mary Powers; grandchildren, Terry and his fiancee Kaitlyn, Taylor, David, Wesley, Donnie Joe, Georgeanna and Elizabeth. Linda is preceded by her parents, James and Ruth Bogard, her son Henry Allen Dilley and her husband Lloyd Barnes.

Friends may visit with Linda's family from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 2020 State St., Washington, IN 47501. Linda will be cremated and there will be no funeral service held at the conclusion of visitation. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is privileged and honored to be entrusted with the care of Linda and her family.
