Linda Carrie

Linda J. Carrie, 64, passed away at her home in Lawrenceville, IL, on December 8, 2012. She was a food service worker at Big J's, and then worked as a cook at King's Restaurant. After that she worked for Morrison Food Service at Vincennes University. Linda also babysat in her home for 18 years. She was a member of the Rising Sun Christian Church, located on the Allison prairie. Linda enjoyed baking, and being around children. She especially enjoyed the time she spent with her family. Born January 18, 1948 in Vincennes, IN, she was the daughter of Ollie and Lorene (Cline) Cooper. They preceded her, as well as her sister, Donna Cooper, and her brother, Bruce Cooper. Surviving is her husband, Edward L. Carrie, whom she married October 16, 1971; two sons, Chris and David Carrie, both of Lawrenceville, IL; a step-daughter, Tammy Oeding and her companion of Vincennes; a step-son, Jeffry Carrie of Vincennes; a brother, Bill (Debbie) of Vincennes; a sister, Sue (Jim) Eagle of Bridgeport, IL; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, at 2:00 EDT, at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN. The family will receive friends from 11:00
