Linda M. Lawson, 81, formerly of Vincennes, passed away at 7:40 am Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Providence Healthcare in St. Mary of the Woods, Indiana.She was born March 28, 1937 in Emison, Indiana to Homer and Pearl (Barber) Godwin.Linda was a member of the Armstrong United Methodist Church in Marshall, Illinois where she was involved in many church activities and retired from the Indiana Department of Transportation. Linda enjoyed traveling, politics, and sewing.Surviving are her husband, Rev. Glenn Lawson; her children, Becky Utt (Keith) Curry of West Terre Haute; two step daughters, Chris Lawson of Evansville, and Cecey (Tad) Bunker of Evansville; her grandchildren, Michelle (Chris Drude) Hart and Michael (Laura) Hart; several step grandchildren; and one step great granddaughter.She was preceded in death by her parents; and an infant brother.Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Pastor Krista Price officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from Noon until the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Terre Haute Humane Society, 1811 S.
