Linda Murphy

Linda L. Murphy, 83, passed away at 1:14 pm on October 16, 2019 at Meadowview Nursing Home in Salem, IN. Linda was born on July 5, 1936 in Vincennes the daughter of Anthony and Zella (Perry) Hamm. She married Isaac "Ike" Murphy on July 27, 1952.Linda was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed playing euchre, bingo, board games, music and singing as well as cruises.Survivors include her husband, Isaac "Ike" Murphy of Vincennes; daughter, Terri Medlock and her husband Larry of Salem, IN; grandchildren, Trisha, Trina, Chad, Nicholas, Steven, Eric, Robert, Kristen, Kristina, Kristopher, Kristi, Tyler and six great grandchildren. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Zella Hamm; sister, Shirley Wilkes, son's, Randall and Michael Murphy and daughter, Kathy Adams.Friends may visit with Linda's family from 10:00 am until the hour of service time of noon on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN. Linda will be laid to rest in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
